Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as Manchester United manager at the end of the season after 26 years in charge.

The day many young and old Manchester United fans were dreading has finally come to pass. The legendary reign of Sir Alex at Old Trafford is finally coming to an end and like all great people in history, he is stepping down while he is on top of his trade. I don’t know Sir Alex and I’ve never even come close to seeing him in real life, let alone meeting him and talking to him. And yet i feel like I’ve known him for so long, heck i wasn’t even born when he first took charge of the club.

Sir Alex has injected so much vision, personality, and care into the football club i love for so long, that I do feel like I knew him, even though I really didn’t. All i do know is that he is one of those rare individuals who inspired a lot of people to do some great things. The sheer longevity of the man in a highly competitive environment is beyond description. The record speaks for itself and he for me epitomizes the great Confucius quote “Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Long live Sir Alex and thank you for knocking Liverpool F.C. off their perch.

That is a ridiculous line-up. Too much choice makes for a crappier shopping experience for consumers. Just ask PC makers like Dell and HP.

This is the best take i’ve read on the ‘Facebook Home’ so far. I think it is a genius move on Facebook’s part to pull off such a thing on rival’s “OPEN” platform. It is just too early to call this a success or a failure. I’m just happy to see the dilution of Google’s vision of Android. Andy Rubin’s ouster from the Android team is now starting to make a bit more sense.

So far, Apple has not opened any of its iconic company-owned stores in India. While the government has allowed single-brand companies like Apple to operate fully-owned stores, it has made it compulsory for such firms to source 30% of the goods they sell here from local vendors. Currently, the US company does not manufacture any of its products in India and the 30% sourcing clause could, therefore, deter it from opening self-owned stores.

Please Stop Fighting About Your Smartphone

I don’t care about what smart (or dumb) phone you use as long as it works for you and fits your needs. I just expect the same mindset from the people i interact with.
