Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2012 Winners
The winners of the 4th Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition were announced yesterday evening at the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London.
The image above is one of my favourites. It is an image of the Pleiades Cluster. The photo was taken by 15-year-old Canadian boy named Jacob von Chorus – winner of the Young Astronomy Photographer category.
